Business and Technical Consulting

SXI has been implementing application development and integration solutions for many years, and has developed a proven approach that reduces risk, accelerates delivery, and ensures a quality solution. SXI's Professional Services Group helps SXI customers plan and implement application development and integration solutions by leveraging best practices around SXI's architecture framework and wide range of software products, providing reusable components and transferring subject matter expertise to customer implementation teams. SXI’s team of consultants can mentor and guide the customer in the implementation of the framework and address other technical issues that may arise. A separate team of business consultants are also available to help define requirement and provide walk-around for relevant business issues.

Training/eTraining

To help customers get their implementation teams up and running with SXI’s ‘homegrown’ or ‘ground up’ application software as quickly as possible, SXI delivers world class training to customers through on-site training programs. It is SXI’s directions to be able to provide Technical Learning Centers and Web Based Training. SXI delivers packaged and customized courses on everything from the fundamentals and concepts of SXI's architecture framework to the advanced use and administration of specific products i.e. business process management and document management.

Project Management

SXI is dedicated to ensuring customer success by providing custom-fit, cost effective and time critical solutions. To be able to do so, SXI follows a comprehensive project management methodology that is strictly adhered to throughout the project life cycle. SXI’s pool of project managers are honed to adapt to various challenges to ensure projects are delivered according to requirement, of high quality and on schedule.

System Design Services

SXI Systems Design Services sets the stage for the more formal planning process that will take place during the planning activity. SXI provides the foundation for our customers to implement consistently, helping them to formalize their integration, vision and strategy, develop a high level architecture, and craft a roadmap that defines their path to success. SXI prepares the functional specification, works through the design process, and prepares work plans, cost estimates, and schedules for the various deliverables.

Programming Services

SXI’S Programming Services define the success of individual implementation projects. We place our major focus on architecture and design of the system, as well as the enabling tools and technologies that will support the client’s requirement. In the development or programming stage, all structures and components of the application are coded, built and integrated, according to the Master project plan that is assembled by the SXI or client’s team at the start of the project life cycle. The team also follow strictly programming rules and standards.

Quality Assurance Services

SXI provides quality solutions and services to its clients by delivering error free software system. A Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Plan is prepared for each project application which provides a foundation for managing the software quality assurance activities based on a project methodology. The plan includes:

  • Identifying the SQA responsibilities of the project team and the SQA consultant.

  • Defining the reviews and audits and how they will conducted.

  • Conducting functionality testing and ensuring that each element of the application meets the functional requirements of the business as outlined in the Functional Specification Document.

  • Conducting performance testing using a stress/volume testing tool.

After Sales Support

SXI provides the following services:

  • Provide on-site technical assistance and problem identification support on an ‘as-needed’ basis.

  • Provide an off-site support during post-implementation support period. The customer can provide an overall 1st level Help Desk to support end users before channeling calls to the SXI support team.

  • Provide resolution according to the Service Level for reported problems.

  • Submit to the customer a Problem Management Report.

  • Submit a completion report to the customer at the end of the post-implementation support period.
